Uebergang is a versatile key position player who wins a lot of the footy. A er missing out on being selected in the dra last year, playing mostly as a forward
in the Queensland State Academy team, Uebergang moved down back when arriving at Redland in 2015, and the move paid dividends. He took the NEAFL by storm this year, claiming the Rising Star award, and also played a big role in their win over Tasmania at the State Representative Carnival.
PICK 20 – BRISBANE LIONS REUBEN WILLIAM
G Junior club/s: Zillmere G Senior club/s: Zillmere/
Wilston Grange

William is a classy user of the ball o half-back, who breaks lines opens the game up. The Zillmere product, who made waves in the NEAFL this year with the Brisbane Lions and Queensland during the National Championships, was very unlucky not to be selected in the All-Australian team. A groin injury kept him out of combine testing and the Allies game at the end of the year, but was still pre-selected by the Brisbane Lions before the Rookie Dra .
PICK 25 – COLLINGWOOD JOSH SMITH (REDLAND)

Josh Smith was unlucky not to be dra ed in his 18th year, a er a great season with the Queensland State Academy, but he didn’t let that dishea en him. Smith played in the NEAFL with Morningisde in 2013, taking out the Rising Star Award, before a move to Redland for 2014 and 2015 seasons. He is a classy midfielder with huge endurance, but added another string to his bow in 2015, taking his contested game to the next level.
