MORNINGSIDE
The Panthers completed a perfect season with a premiership, becoming the first side to go through undefeated in Queensland since Southport in 1999. Coming from the NEAFL, the Panthers retained many of their players heading into the 2014 season and their big-name players proved the difference.
LABRADOR
With new coach Steve Daniel at the helm, the Tigers pulled off an incredible turnaround in 2014. Despite battling a lengthy injury list at times, Labrador held it together to feature in the QAFL grand final, after two thrilling finals matches against Mt Gravatt and Palm Beach. Tigers captain, Ryan Davey, won the Grogan Medal and Syd Guildford Trophy.
